Michelle's Crystal Chicken

3/4 cup flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
3/4 cup water
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
2 cloves garlic, flattened
1/4 cup honey
2 Tbsp. each of soy sauce, cider vinegar, molasses, water, dry sherry
2 cloves minced garlic
2 tsp. cornstarch
12 ounces boneless, skinless chicken
1 Tbsp. oil
Broccoli

Stir together flour, baking powder, 3/4 cup water, 2 Tbsp. soy sauce, flattened garlic. Let stand for 15 minutes then remove garlic. / / In separate bowl combine honey, 2 Tbsp. soy sauce, vinegar, molasses, 2 Tbsp. water, sherry, minced garlic, and cornstarch - set aside. Cut chicken into strips, add to flour mixture. / / In a wok heat 2" oil, fry chicken strips a few pieces at a time until golden. Drain on paper towels. / / Pour 1 Tbsp. oil in large skillet. Stir fry broccoli florets for 4-5 minutes or until crisp tender. Arrange around the edge of serving plate. / /Stir honey-soy mixture and add to skillet. Cook and stir until thick and bubbly, then for 1 minute more. Return chicken to skillet and heat through. Pour chicken and sauce into center of broccoli on platter.
